Axie Infinity Raylights is a land mini-game created by our gaming studio partner Quicksave Interactive.
In Raylights, the goal of the game is to collect all different types of plants by placing different minerals into the seedling nursery. In this process, you as a Gardener will need to assign the production task to an Axie, select the minerals, decide for a combination, put them to the seedling nursery, and start growing a specific type of plant!
Seedling Nursery
Plants are grown by placing minerals on the ground layers of the seedling nursery. You can simply drag and drop the mineral that you want to place on the ground layers to the ‘Add mineral’ under the seedling nursery.
You will also need to assign an Axie to help with the plant growth by dragging and dropping one from your inventory's pool of available Axies to the 'Add Axie' slot in the seedling nursery.
After you have added an Axie and a combination of minerals has also been added to the ground layers, you will be able to press the 'Grow' button and you should see a timer for the plants to grow.
Once you started the growing process, you can also cancel it by pressing the 'Discard Plant' button.
You will be able to unlock more types of plants by utilizing more types of combinations with more ground layers. More ground layers will be unlocked by completing missions.
Lastly, you can do simultaneous research on all your other plots if you own multiple land plots.
Minerals
Minerals are used to conduct research on the seedling nursery to find the correct mineral codes to unlock more types of plants.
Currently, there are 10 types of minerals in the game:
- Edenite
- Aqua
- Beastium
- Serpentine
- Amber
- Aerium
- Mechanium
- Solar
- Obsidian
- Citrine
When you first start in the game, you will only have 3 starting minerals – Edenite, Aqua and Beastium. To get more minerals unlocked you will need to clear the missions in-game.
Mineral Codes
The process where users are looking for the right combination of minerals is called the ‘mineral code’. To discover the mineral code, users will need to do a lot of trial & error and work together with the community to find the codes.
Once the correct mineral code has been found, you will be able to unlock more types of plants.
Few things to note for the mineral code:
- Sequence of the mineral code matters, this means to find some types of plants from the mineral code, you will need to use the right minerals with the right sequence as well.
- The mineral codes are the same for everyone on the same land type.
- Different land types will have different mineral codes.
Gardener Axies
Axies are necessary to start cultivating plants in your land plots. They will help you nurture the growth of seeds in the seedling nursery. As your nursery expands, more complicated mineral combinations will take more time for your Axies to finish growing one plant. Moreover, they will also need more time to rest.
Note: Axies are not exclusive to each plot. When an Axie is currently gardening on another or is currently sleeping, it will not be available on the other plots you own.
Missions
Missions in-game are progressive objectives to achieve the main goal which is to collect all plant types. In the game missions, you will be able to check the number of plants that you have discovered, as well as the number of plants that the Axie community already has.
There will be specific milestones that you have to reach to unlock certain minerals and added layers for the seedling nursery. These milestones and missions are shared over all your owned plots. Utilizing all your available plots will be useful for completing missions and unlocking features faster.
Matching Weeds & Weed Score
When a player uses a mineral code that doesn’t have a specific plant match, it results in a “weed” plant. Each land archetype has their own type of weed, such as “Bush” for Savanna and “Moss” for Mystic.
Each weed also has a different level of quality, which depends on the number of matches you have to a specific plant code. For example, a Withering quality weed [such as Withering Bush] means that only 1 of your mineral code matches a plant, while a Flowering quality weed [such as Flowering Bush] means that 3 of your mineral code matches a specific plant.
You can use these clues to help you discover new plants, by using trial and error to get better quality weeds until you discover the plant. The higher the quality of the weed, the closer you are on discovering a new plant.
World Firsts
While collecting all different types of plants, you will take your research into another level by competing for World Firsts achievements! Through improvising your own research system to challenge the community, you will then be able to achieve better results in discovering new plants before anyone else.
In future updates, World Firsts leaderboard will be added in-game.
Cultivate & Decorate
Plants that you have collected can be planted and used to decorate your land plot. To do this, you can simply drag and drop the plants that you want to place on your land plot. In the upcoming features, you may also have the ability to harvest the plants.

Over time we'll be adding:
